Joseph Peter Danelo (born September 2, 1953 in Spokane, Washington) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers, the New York Giants, and the Buffalo Bills between 1975 and 1984. He played college football at Washington State University and was drafted in the tenth round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
Danelo kicked a New York Giants record 55-yard field goal on September 20, 1981 (since broken), and tied the NFL record of six field goals (with no misses) in a game on October 18, 1981 (since broken).
He is the father of former USC Trojans placekicker Mario Danelo.
